Gin Drinks
Gin Gimlet
Ingredients
2 ½ oz gin
½ oz fresh lime juice
½ oz simple syrup
Lime wheel or lime wedge, for garnish
Steps
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice and pour in the gin, lime juice and simple syrup. Stir ingredients in cocktail shaker filled with ice vigorously with a long cocktail spoon until very cold
Clover Club
Ingredients
2 ounces gin
1/2 ounce lemon juice, freshly squeezed
1/2 ounce raspberry syrup
1 egg white
Garnish: 3 raspberries
Steps
Add the gin, lemon juice, raspberry syrup and egg white into a shaker with ice and shake vigorously until well-chilled.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with 3 speared raspberries.
White Winter Lady
Ingredients
1.5 oz Botanist Gin
1.5 oz Cointreau
1 oz fresh lemon juice
9 drops aromatic bitters
1 egg white
Steps
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice, and shake vigorously to emulsify the egg white.
Strain into a coupe, and garnish with lemon twist.
Gin Basil Smash
Ingredients
12 fresh basil leaves
2 oz Gin
3/4 oz fresh lime juice
1/3 oz simple syrup
1 sprig fresh basil, for garnish
Steps
Place the basil leaves in a cocktail shaker and muddle. Add the gin, lime juice, and syrup, fill the shaker 2/3's full of ice, shake until combined.
Double strain over ice into a rocks gladd and garnish with a sprig of basil.
Breakfast Martini
Ingredients
1 3/4 oz gin
1/2 oz cointreau
1/2 oz fresh lemon juice
1 orange twist, for garnish
Steps
Place the gin, Cointreau, and lemon juice in a cocktail shaker, fill it two-thirds of the way with ice, and shake until chilled
Strain into a cocktail glass and garnish with the orange twist
Gin & Juice
Ingredients
2 oz gin
2 oz cranberry juice
Splash of Cointreau
1/2 oz fresh lime juice
1 lime wheel, for garnish
Steps
Place the gin, cranberry juice, orange liqueur, and lime juice in a cocktail shaker, fill it two-thirds of the way with ice, and shake until chilled
Strain over ice into a rocks glass and garnish with the lime wheel
In a Red Dress
Ingredients
1 1/2 oz gin
1 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz mint simple syrup
4 blackberries, +1 for garnish
1 egg white
Steps
Muddle 4 blackberries and mint syrup (see recipe) in a shaker.
Add gin, lemon juice, egg white, and ice
Shake hard for 30 seconds. Strain out the ice. Shake again for 30 seconds to emulsify ingredients.
Strain into a champagne flute, garnish with a blackberry.
